AN EVENING FOR CHUCK honors a staple of the area Music Community and raises money and awareness for Pancreatic Cancer!
The area music community lost a great man on February 18th, 2006 to Pancreatic Cancer. Chuck Freidhof was, for the last 7 years of his life, the manager/soundman for Ohio's premier singer/ songwriter and next break out artist, 28 year old ZACH. He was also an advisor and mentor to many in the community and a respected businessman
Zach, who is also Chuck’s son, organized this event to “honor a great man who meant a lot not only to my music and life, but to the whole area music scene. And it’s also to raise awareness of and money to research and fight Pancreatic Cancer, a disease that only 5 years ago, had absolutely no research or funding, and has no early detection process. By the time you know you have it, it’s too late.”
“More and more people are having to face this horrible disease, and there is no reason that they shouldn’t have some hope. This event is to remember our friends and loved ones, and to give the rest of us hope.”
